Dear Loyal Readers,

First of all, thank you so much for visiting OliveAndPeach.com. In July 2005, this site was born out of the love that Aleishall and I share for both the culinary arts and writing. The two of us had reconnected, after losing touch five years prior, on a chance meeting in New York City. We picked up on the same page we had left off and began cooking together, sharing good times and good meals.

OliveAndPeach.com started as a hobby, but came to mean much more to both of us. Not only was it a creative outlet and a means of putting out our message of “conscious consumption,” but it also gave us a chance to connect with so many people around the world. I have received emails from readers all over the United States, and even people in other countries like England, Ireland, and Spain. I have truly enjoyed my correspondence with readers, hearing their stories and exchanging recipes and cooking tips.

Since the beginning of OliveAndPeach.com, Aleishall and I have experienced all sorts of life changes. I have been traveling extensively and working in the television industry and Aleishall has since left New York for California after marrying a wonderful man. Our distance, time differences, and busy schedules have made maintaining the site more difficult, thus bringing us to the conclusion that all good things must come to an end. I ask each of you to continue living a “green” life and remember our message of “conscious consumption.”
